Deanna Hutchinson began as a part-time employee in 2010, but she was soon asked to stay on and take on a permanent position with additional responsibilities. “I jumped in with both feet, and I am personally invested in my job,” says Deanna. “Every decision I make, the questions I ask, the suggestions I propose, how I interact with clients, how I conduct myself professionally…everything comes from my commitment to this company.”

Today, as Operations Manager, Deanna keeps things running smoothly, supervising support staff and handling project and operations management, compliance assistance, and billing. Her role continues to evolve, as she embarks on a path to become a Registered Paraplanner, with a plan to earn her designation by fall of 2014. Deanna loves to find solutions, quickly analyzing what’s needed in each new situation she encounters.

Outside work, Deanna has spent several years cheering her three daughters at swim meets, concerts, and school and community events. But she’s not always in the audience: “My daughters inspired me to get off the sidelines, so my husband, Bill, and I plan to compete in a triathlon together.” She is an accomplished cook (anyone who has been lucky enough to taste her desserts at McNamara wine tasting events can attest to that!) and loves to read.


Cheryl Klim

Cheryl Klim has been a member of the McNamara Financial Services team since July of 2014. She is focused and goal-oriented and especially enjoys her interactions with clients: “I like dealing with people. My purpose and mission as a Service Associate here at McNamara Financial is to advocate for our clients’ best interests.”

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is nearly finished with her Master of Business Administration from Boston University. Cheryl has 15 years of experience in a wide variety of industries, with a strong client services focus during her years in finance at SSGA and State Street. Her experience makes her a highly versatile and capable Service Associate at McNamara Financial.

Outside of the office, Cheryl enjoys skiing, music, and pairing new recipes with fine wines. She also volunteers her time delivering meals through the meals on wheels program at the Hanover Senior Center and as a member of the Center/Sylvester School Council. Cheryl lives in Hanover, MA,with her husband and two children, Alana and Griffin.

Mary Beth Hillson

Administrative Assistant

Mary Beth Hillson started as Administrative Assistant for McNamara Financial in August of 2015. Right from the beginning, she had no problem jumping in and getting to work. Mary Beth genuinely loves her job, and it shows in her affability and enthusiasm. “I love everything about my job. Typing, answering phones, greeting clients and visitors, you name it,” she says. “I so enjoy meeting our clients and getting to know them. I’m a people person!”

Mary Beth is a graduate of the Massasoit Community College secretarial program and has more than 30 years of experience as a receptionist and administrative assistant. From daily duties to special projects, she uses her organizational and multitasking skills with care, attention, and zeal. Mary Beth also excels at customer relations and works to ensures that clients feel valued: “I love to chat with the clients to get to know them or catch up. I always make sure the clients feel welcome at McNamara Financial.”

When not at the office, Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, and their four children, ages 16 to 23. Together they love to travel, hit the beautiful beaches near their summer home in Dennis, MA, and work on home improvement projects at their house in South Weymouth, MA. Mary Beth likes to relax with a little shopping, and she gets her adrenaline pumping by cheering at her youngest daughter’s track meets!

Laurie Cantwell

Laurie Cantwell joined McNamara Financial as Client Service Associate in 2015. A true problem solver, she is helping the company take our services to the next level with innovative technology ideas.

Having earned her B.S. in Computer Science from Merrimack College, Laurie comes to McNamara with 15 years’ experience in the investment industry. Her skills have been invaluable as we work to simplify the investment process for our clients, helping them to meet their investment goals for themselves and their families. “I like to figure out how something works and make it better, whether it’s through automation or streamlined processes and workflows,” says Laurie.

In her free time, Laurie enjoys volunteering, beach trips, skiing, gardening, “anything crafty”, as well as spending time with her husband, Jim, and their two children. Furry friends round out the family: currently, two cats and a kitten. As a volunteer for the Lowell Humane Society, Laurie fosters cats and their kittens to provide homeless animals with temporary care until they can be ready for adoption.

Kathy Quinn

Kathy Quinn joined McNamara Financial Services in September 2016. As a Client Service Associate, and having worked in many industries, Kathy knows that the most important part of her job is customer service and connecting with clients.  “It’s the service we deliver, how we follow-through, and how we make the client feel when they do business with us.”

Kathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Education, both from the University of Massachusetts. Her broad business knowledge and focus on helping people make her a valued member of our team.

Outside of the office, Kathy enjoys reading, boating, following Boston sports and being open to new adventures – the latest being ATVing in NH.  However, the most important and rewarding time is spent with her husband and two sons at home in Hanover, MA.

Angela Dunn joined the team at McNamara in October 2016. Angela is a recent college graduate from Merrimack College, earning her degree in Communications and Public and Professional Writing. Angela is a Marshfield resident and a former student at Marshfield High School.

Outside of the office, Angela enjoys walking her dog, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. We are excited to see all the great ideas that she will bring to McNamara Financial as our new Marketing Coordinator!
