Our Prospective Client Process
If you have an interest in working with us, we need to determine if we can help you, and if so, which advisor may be the best fit. There are four CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioners in our office, each with a different personality and niche. In order for us to determine the best fit, we will ask for a few basic pieces of information. All information submitted to McNamara Financial is confidential.
There are two ways prospective clients can proceed if they want to work with us, and if we think we can help.
We would love to meet you in person. The service we can provide for you is more thorough if we can get to know you, your family, your situation and your goals. This is easier accomplished through an in-person meeting in our Marshfield or Chelmsford office. If you will be trusting us with your money and/or advising you on life decisions, you may want to meet us in person as well! After reviewing the data in the contact form, you will be contacted by phone to schedule an in-person meeting, or a phone meeting if we need more information first.

We understand that everyone is busy. Work, family, and life in general often get in the way of your to-do list. If you cannot make time for a meeting at our office, and if you are interested in starting the financial planning process with us, we can start by phone. Some of the things we can help with are:

- long-term retirement projections
- recommendations for 401(k)/403(b) portfolio allocation
- help with employer stock options
- help with Rollovers from work retirement plans
- life insurance analysis (is coverage adequate?)
- coordination with your tax advisor and estate planning professional

Our hourly rate for Financial Planning services range from $150 – $300 per hour. An average client plan would be completed in 3-4 hours. We are confident that we are worth it.
